There’s no way you could have missed the #GrammyWeek hashtag on Instagram and everywhere else. But these posters take the excitement a notch higher for those actually invited to the glamorous Grammys.
The ‘Believe in Music’ collection of giant posters are wrapped around concrete columns at the Los Angeles airport to welcome guests to the city. With crisp photography and an open layout that give a larger-than-life prominence to the stars they feature, these posters duly represent LA’s mood at this time of the year.
Nigerians are a little bit more interested in the Grammys this year, perhaps because Tiwa Savage hasn’t paused for a minute from showing that she’s all up in the show this year. You might have seen her mingling with Diddy, DJ Khaled, and Brandy. But beyond that, with Wizkid’s nomination for featuring on Drake’s Views album, maybe this is the year someone from over here will finally win a Grammy for singing.
Back to the awards. The posters are part of the Believe in Music campaign, developed by TBWA Chiat Day. 2017 makes it the 10th straight year the Recoding Academy, owners of the Grammy Awards, will be collaborating with the agency.
