Case in point: Valentine’s Day. Many young people decided to not follow the trend of wearing “a touch of red”. But in trying to be different, to resist popular culture, they recruited others into a new camp, choosing to wear blue, black, or white instead of red, just so they don’t “follow, follow”. But ironically, they became the mainstream.
Bow down for John Oliver. In this year’s first episode, his show Last Week Tonight, which aired yesterday, examined the several lies being told by US President Donald Trump. The conclusion, according to Oliver’s incredibly well-written monologue, is that Trump gets his information from suspicious and sometimes malicious TV sources. Because Trump doesn’t know any better, however, he shares this dubious knowledge on Twitter and repeats it in interviews.
it doesn’t appear to have wheels. Or, the wheels are fixed while the bike glides through town. Don’t be surprised if all of this turns out to be a clever hoax. The rider doesn’t even seem to be pedalling. Now, if she’s not pedalling, can we still call this a bike? Whatever it is, this not-a-bike vehicle is interesting to watch.
